Aveda product is awesome, but more than that - great friendly, knowledgeable service (by everyone) and the new spa area is really nice and relaxing. "My wife introduced me to Aveda products and their philosophy when we were dating. When we married and moved to Santa Cruz, she went looking for Aveda salons in the area. She found Emerald Iguana, and I am glad she did.We've gone to no other place but Emerald Iguana in the nearly four years we've lived in Santa Cruz, for good reason. Aveda products, with their natural ingredients, are great for our hair and skin. The peaceful, quiet ambiance of the salon is like nothing I've ever experienced. Gentlemen, if you have not visited any sort of high-end hair salon, you should give Emerald Iguana a try (yes, Aveda has great products for men). Every styling session for men begins with a wonderful, meditative scalp massage, followed by a shampoo. And you'll love the results! We have tried the spa services...my wife had a facial and I got a manicure. Next time we'll switch places. Note: the operators do spa services as well as their regular styling...at Aveda, the operators are all learning new techniques constantly."
